Web 2.0 Storytelling Hack
I have had trouble thinking of a idea for a storytelling hack using a web 2.0 hack. I think I finally have thought of something I want to try that coincides with some of the themes of my blog and uses a platform that is unusual but works well. I plan on using Tripadvisor which a website that allows people to review and share there experiences about places all over the world. What I plan on doing is telling the story of a fictional place that does not actually exist but rather I will pick a place and use it as a metaphor to connect to a fictional realm.
I am thinking of pulling a fictional place from the Warhammer 40k universe as I have already used that subject for my listicle as well. Warhammer is often so over the top I think it would be cool to try write about it as if it was a real place in Tripadvisor. In this way I am manipulating the presumed use of Tripadvisor by talking and telling the story of a fictional place on a platform that shows reviews and photos of real places in the world.
