Flyers and Picture stories

Another week has gone by and for me they are all going by quite fast. Last weekend I finished my flyers so I am looking forward to getting some feedback on them as I am not sure how I feel about them. I have seen other people's flyers and from what I have seen they all look pretty well done.

The picture story project is still somewhat of a conundrum for me as I do not have a concrete plan for it. I know that I do want to use Photoshop for it and I have one idea that I mentioned in my update last Friday that I am most likely going to try first. For my picture story style, I believe I want to go for the deliberate and heavily edited style.

For my goals this week I want to refamiliarize myself with Photoshop whether that means just playing with or watching some more tutorial videos before I dive into the software again. I think I also want to come up with a backup idea for my picture story if my first one doesn't go to plan. Well I think that is all I have to say for now, I look forward seeing more flyers from you guys.

 Update 10/10/2019

Hello everyone, first things first I just wanna thank you all for the feedback on my flyers, all very helpful comments as usual. I am pretty happy with how they turned out. This week started off going great and then I got sick so I ended up missing a day. I prepared some things for my picture story in hopes that it will make up for some of the time I missed. I am looking forward to playing around with Photoshop and editing my photos, and I am also curious to see what you guys do with your picture stories.

  1. Ian,
I really liked your “Sherlock Holmes” detective looking humanities flyer the best! It worked very well for what the class was going to be about and I liked the bright red on the background which made it stand out. Your other flyer was a little hard to read with the words on the background and the text but that can be easily fixed and I think the dark man shooting that gas was an interesting element that made it stand out more but maybe a different color choice for the smoke coming out but overall I liked all of your Humanities Flyers.
